mustardFX are teaming up with a Remote-First AAA Developer based in the UK that has created and friendly and supportive environment for all staff, specialising in Unreal Engine. As a Studio creating it's own AAA IP's, they also work with some of the Top AAA studios as Co-Dev for a range of Genre-Defining AAA projects.
Currently looking for a Technical Artist to play a cruicial role, briding the gap between Art & Technology to create visually stunning & optimised game experiences. You'll help implement art assets into game engine, develop tools create pipelines, and contribute to the overall visual quality and performance of the game.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain efficient workflows, tools and pipelines for the art team.
- Develop tools to assist asset optimisation and to ensure assets conform to technical requirements.
- Evaluate and decide which software and tools are required for optimal game production.
- Research and oversee the implementation of rendering techniques.
- Develop performance of frame rate and memory.
- Resolve material errors and collision issues.
- Monitor the performance of the game.
- Maintain technical documentation.
Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of high-end coding languages.
- Solid understanding of art and animation pipelines.
- Strong technical proficiency in Unreal, including materials and Blueprints.
- High level artistic skills – proportion, colour, composition.
- Excellent understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) art pipelines.
- Scripting skills.
Bonus Experience/Skills:
- Rendering and post-effects experience.
- Solid Understanding of rigging and animation.
