Western mobile games journalists head to PG Connects Bangalore 2015

As production for Steel Media and Reliance Games's Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore conference on 16-17 April ramps up, the first details of the western mobile games press in attendance have been revealed.

For India's development community, the conference offers the perfect opportunity to delve into the core issues facing the local and South Eastern region, with sessions from leading international experts focusing on practical development, practical marketing and monetisation, as well as western exposure and global market insight.

Local indie developers in particular are offered a variety of opportunities to boost their exposure, gain invaluable feedback, and make key business connections via a dedicated full-day practical track, as well as ancillary events such as The Very Big Indie Pitch competition and I Love Indie Showcase area.

Scouting for stories

Reporting on these with a view to meet and greet India's mobile game development teams while covering the show are Pocket Gamer editor Mark Brown, AppSpy editor Peter Willington, Rob Rich from US site 148Apps, as well as PG.biz's very own Alysia Judge and George Osborn.

Additional members of the media attending will be announced shortly.

As well as reporting on the conference via developer spotlights, interviews, and articles published on western media channels, the members of the press will be on hand to judge The Very Big Indie Pitch, which gathers the finalists of Reliance Games's Game Hack initiative for a lively Grand Prize showdown.
