Chinese dev Seasun Entertainment opens US office

Chinese developer Seasun Entertainment is breaking into the US market by opening a new studio in San Mateo, in the Bay Area

The company’s expansion into the west is centred on bringing its titles to new audiences, starting with its flagship mobile game Relics of Gods that is set to launch on iOS this summer.

Big plans

As part of the push into the US, Seasun has announced that it will be investing in other small and medium sized studios across the country.

“The US is one of the top gaming markets and its long-lasting game culture is critical for us to break into as we expand into the global markets,” said CEO Tao Zou.

“We are committed to long-term development within the US market, and plan to establish a research and development team as well as attract top-notch talent to achieve our ultimate goal - providing the best quality and most exciting games to the players all around the world.”
