Top grossing Korean publisher Webzen wants new mobile partners at Gamescom

Free-to-play PC specialist Webzen has rolled up its sleeves and plunged into the world of mobile game publishing - and it will be looking for new partners at Gamescom.

The Korean developer and publisher of free-to-play PC games announced in April that mobile MMORPG Mu:Origin was its first step as a mobile game publisher.

Expansion

As of writing, Mu:Origin currently sits in the number two spot of Google Play’s Korean top-grossing charts.

It also peaked in the top 5 games of the store’s global top-grossing charts in May 2015, according to App Annie.

The firm is now looking for new partners to collaborate with in both the mobile and PC spaces, and will be exhibiting at a B2B booth at Gamescom 2015.
