Super Mario Run has topped South Korea's download charts on iOS for five consecutive days since launching in the region on February 1st.
According to data from App Annie, the game finished its first day in South Korea at number four on the App Store's overall download charts. It jumped to 1st on February 2nd and has stayed there ever since.
The grossing ranks tell a very different story, however. It entered the overall grossing charts at 90, and has now climbed to 25th place as of February 6th.
Slipping away
It's a marked improvement over other markets where the game has already started to fall out of the top 25. As of February 6th, Super Mario Run is in 25th place on the App Store downloads charts in the US and 35th in Japan.
The game has achieved 78 million downloads since first launching on December 15th. It is expected to launch on Android in March, where download figures will likely shoot even higher.
