Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle pushes past 150 million downloads in just over two years

Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle has now surpassed 150 million downloads in 26 months.

The game had achieved 100 million downloads by November 2016, suggesting it managed another 50 million since then. This means the title has been downloaded around 10 million times a month on average.

It also continues to perform well in terms of the grossing ranks. Bandai Namco claims that the game currently holds a top ten App Store spot in 19 different countries.

To celebrate its milestone, Dokkan Battle players will be rewarded with a special summon event that will earn a Summon Ticket for every 50 Dragon Stones they have used. This further rewards those who have been around since the game's original launch.

Dokkan Battle is one of Bandai Namco's most important mobile games. Its continued investment in the title helped push overall sales for the company to $2.82 billion in the first half of its FY17 financials.
