Last chance to enter The Big Indie Awards 2017 in association with indieSky

Last chance to enter The Big Indie Awards 2017 in association with indieSky

It's been a record breaking year for the Big Indie Pitch, with over 20 competitors taking place this year alone. So what better way to celebrate, than The Big Indie Awards.

Taking place this November in Shenzhen, China in association with indieSky, The Big Indie Awards is a dedicated ceremony highlighting both the last 12 months of the Big Indie Pitch, and the best indie developers working in the mobile space.

However, if you are an indie developer who wants to be a part of this celebration, but haven’t entered yet, then there’s not long left to get your submission in.In fact, submissions for the Big Indie Awards 2017 close on October 17th. That's tomorrow!

Getting your submission in

Luckily though, getting involved couldn’t be simpler. As all developers need to do to ensure their game is up for consideration is to head over to our REGISTRATION FORM by October 17th and fill in all of the required information, including details about you and your game, alongside a link to a video of your game and some screenshots if available. You'll need to register to the Pocket Gamer Business Network, but it's quick and simple!

In fact, those who have previously been a part of the Big Indie Pitch will know just how easy this is as the form is exactly the same.

Our experts will return once again to decide a champion of champions

These entries will then be filtered into a longlist through a provisional judging process. This long-lasting process will be taking place in London, and will include a crack team of experts, including the likes of journalists, influencers and developers, all of which have acted as judges for the Big Indie Pitch in the last 12 months.

Live from Shenzhen

Following that, we’ll be heading to Shenzhen on November 21st to announce the top 10, and we’ll even be taking a selection of the top 10 with us in order to collect their prize in person. As part of this trip, those lucky enough to come along with us will not only have all their flights and accommodation paid for, but they’ll also get a chance to present their games on stage at the ceremony to a packed audience.

Could you be the one to walk away with a Big Indie Award?

We have an array of prizes up for grabs worth over $25,000, including $15,000 of marketing promotional spend on SM channels, tickets and expo tables at PG Connects worth $5,000, and $5,000 of cold, hard cash. Plus there’s the paid trip to China and all of the media coverage too.
