South Korea's biggest games conference G-STAR 2017 kicks off

South Korea's biggest games trade show G-STAR has kicked off in Busan welcoming hundreds of thousands of industry professionals and consumers.

The B2B and B2C conference and exhibition is one of the largest events of its kind in Asia and hosts representatives from a number of the biggest games companies in South Korea such as NCSoft, NHN Entertainment, Nexon, Hangame and Webzen.

There are also plenty of international companies like Activision Blizzard and EA too.

Stars of the show

In total, over 600 exhibitors from all over the world are at the event to showcase their products and services.

All gaming sectors are represented, from online, mobile and VR to PC and console.

More than 200,000 gamers are expected to attend G-STAR this year.

There's also a conference for industry professionals with speakers hailing from Niantic, Google, EA, Ubisoft, Tencent and Twitch.
