Meet localisation and player support specialist MoGi at Gamescom 2017

Global localisation and player support specialist, MoGi Group, confirmed this week that it will once again make an appearance at the one of the world’s most important video game expos.

From August 22nd to 24th, MoGi Group will be on-location at the Koelnmesse international trade fair and exhibition center in Cologne, Germany. Now in its seventh year, Gamescom 2017 is expecting to attract over 350,000 people from all over the world.

Fuelled by its unbridled passion for all things gaming and its belief in creating strong, lasting partnerships, MoGi Group has asserted itself as a leading light in the video games service industry.

MoGi Group aims to help bring games of all genres to bigger and more diverse audiences all over the world using its talents in on-the-spot localisation, player support, voice-over recording and production, community management and quality assurance.

Since its foundation in 2007, MoGi Group has worked on countless games, from indie projects to major global titles for over 500 satisfied clients worldwide. Its 80+ player support agents and 70+ in-house translators working in over 40 different languages – of which all are fully-trained, native speakers in their own field – have ensured that each and every project undertaken gets the full ‘MoGi Treatment’.

With over 45 million gaming words and 3.5 million tickets solved annually, it’s easy to see why MoGi Group keeps going from strength to strength and making a name for itself in the industry.

MoGi Group will be attending Gamescom, the world’s leading video game expo, in Cologne once again this year. The leading localisation and video games service body is currently taking bookings for meetings and consultation services from August 22nd to 24th at its booth in Hall 2.1 Aisle E No.25.

Timely booking in advance is advised as slots in the past have had a tendency to be filled quickly. A consultation at Gamescom with localisation and player support experts, MoGi Group, could be the next step for upcoming indie developers (as part of MoGi’s trailblasing Indie Initiative) and established, major title holders alike to reach larger global markets and bring their games to the entire world with a knowledgeable, flexible partner.

“Our passion, when we’re absolutely happiest, is in working on games that we love with partners we believe in. All we ever want is to see great games get out to the world, to the audiences we know will love them, and to know that we played a part in that process.” says Orad Elkayam, CEO of MoGi Group.

Gamescom, running from August 22nd to 26th, is scheduled to be opened by German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, and attract over 350,000 gaming enthusiasts, developers, service providers, and businesses worldwide over its five-day run.

Since its inception in 2009, Gamescom has become a household name for all gaming fans and an event not to be missed for those looking to keep up to date on all things gaming, from console and title release dates to live panels with some of the industry’s most beloved personalities.

“Gamescom is always such a special time for us, it’s when everything really comes together,” says Elkayam, MoGi Group CEO. “We get to see our partners and clients making exciting announcements and new releases that we helped create, and at the same time see their audience engage with it all right there in the moment. It makes it all real, and worthwhile.

"It also means we get to meet so many great new developers and form productive, long-lasting partnerships. I’d urge anyone thinking about expanding their localisation, quality assurance, or player support suite to come meet us at Gamescom – you’d be amazed what we can do together.”

MoGi Group can be found at Gamescom from August 22nd to 24th at its booth in Hall 2.1 Aisle E No.25. As a Gamescom veteran, MoGi Group will also be hosting a special get-together for clients and friends new and old at 4:00 pm on Wednesday August 23rd with complimentary food and drinks – a great opportunity to network, catch up with familiar faces, and find out just how MoGi Group does what it does.
