Super Evil Megacorp COO Kristian Segerstrale to take over as CEO

Super Evil Megacorp investor and COO Kristian Segerstrale is to become the company's CEO.

The current CEO and founder Bo Daly will take on the newly established roles of President and Chief Business Officer. The move is expected to take place at the start of 2017.

The restructuring has been planned to help deepen partnerships and further company growth on a global scale.

Roots in the community

Segerstrale has been involved with Super Evil since the beginning. He was a partner at Initial Capital, which invested in the company's first funding round.

He later joined as COO in June 2014 when the studio raised a further $11.6 million. Segerstrale has since become one of the main public faces of Super Evil.

The developer most recently revealed its Vainglory Team Franchise Program to expand its presence as an eSport. Its first Vainglory Worlds tournament, held in Hollywood, begins today.
