Venatus appoints Tom Briant as new head of business development

Ad sales house Venatus has appointed Tom Briant as its new head of business development and strategic partnerships.

He will be tasked with streamlining Venatus’ process for developing new partnerships. The company hopes his expertise will help it continue to build on a successful track record this year.

Prior to his appointment, Briant’s career saw him at companies like Davinci 11 and Sony PlayStation as business director and head of network advertising.

New ventures

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the Venatus team,” said Briant in a statement.

“Known for their ability to push technological and creative boundaries within the entertainment market, they are at the forefront of global gaming.

“Venatus are clearly passionate about what they do. They have a wealth of experience, are rapidly growing and most importantly, drive great results for their clients - I value that hugely.”

Venatus CEO Rob Gay added: “The success Tom has had in building relationships within the industry ensures that he is a perfect fit to lead our new business and strategic partnership efforts. Tom’s expertise along with his extensive knowledge will be beneficial to the team, helping to achieve the ambitions of Venatus.”

This year has seen Venatus continue to expand rapidly. The firm recently opened a new office in Seoul to serve Asian markets. Its London studio also brought aboard 10 new members of staff back April.
