The Handango Champion Awards are a major milestone in the software portal's year, and they've become recognised by the online community as a reliable recognition of the year's most outstanding contributions to gaming, applications and technology.
This year marks the first time Handango has opened the Champion Awards to the mobile community, allowing users to vote for their favourite studios, applications, games and more on BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android.
Several titles are recognisable in this inaugural competition from the pages of Pocket Gamer, including SimCity Metropolis (EA Mobile) and Baseball Superstars 2009 (Gamevil) in the Android's Best Casual Game category, and Lego Batman (Player X), Path of a Warrior: Imperial Blood (Gamevil) and Samurai Puzzle Battle (Vivid Games) being up for the Best Action/Adventure Game award.
Other categories include Best Business App, Best Social/Messaging App, 2009 Groundbreaker, 2009 Developer of the Year, and 2009 App of the Year.
You can cast your vote for the 2009 Handango Champion Awards here. Good luck all!
