Mark Rein to keynote new NE England mobile event; Go Go Games
Within travelling distance of Gateshead, UK on May 12, and interested in mobile game development?

If so, you might want to check out a new networking conference that's been set up by regional agencies Codeworks and The Hub.

At the coalface

Called Go Go Games, the first event is a half day that aims to help you focus on the right platforms, content and business models when it comes to mobile game development.

Epic Game's Mark Rein will keynote talking about Unreal Engine 3 for iOS and Android, and no doubt also covering the success of Infinity Blade

Other confirmed speakers include Stuart Varall of developer Fluid Pixel, Nvidia's technical evangelism lead Phil Scott, Chris Wright of Games Analytics, and Ryan Lewis Davis, creative director at GospelWare.

The event will kick off at 2pm, closing at 5.30pm for networking drinks. And best of all it's free.

If you want to attend, you should register online before May 10.
