Geo-localised gaming meet-up Playground Thursday launches at Nordic Game
Nordic Game and the International Mobile Gaming Awards is announcing that the first ever Playground Thursday - a meet-up for players of geo-localised games - will debut at Nordic Game's indie night.

The first of what will be a series of bi-monthly outdoor events will be held in Malmo on Wednesday May 23 at 6pm.

There will also be an event in Marseille, France on 24 May.

Meekensleep and C4MProd's iOS title Meatspace Invasion, which won best real world game at the Mobile Game Awards, will be the title of choice. Attendees will attempt to survive virtual zombie attacks and intergalactic monsters.

Go play outdoors

Future events will include a variety of geo-localised games from action, sports, treasure hunts, city discovery, adventure and role games.

Two sessions will be going on at each location: Malmo from 6-8pm on Wednesday, and 12-2pm on Thursday, and Marseilles between 12-2pm and 6-8pm on Thursday.
