HTML5 gaming platform Tylted is expanding its portfolio of games, thanks to newly announced partnerships with ten developers.
TinyCo's Tiny Monsters is perhaps the single most high profile addition to Tylted's platform, but other developer partners include Slingo, Softgames and Bushido Games.
Tylted claims that these partnerships will add 50 new games to its mobile site, which currently attracts more than 10 million unique visitors a month.
Perfect partners
The news comes at a difficult time for HTML5, with many developers claiming the platform is yet to truly go mainstream on mobile.
Nonetheless, for developers working on Tylted, the platform is proving to be a potent one.
"The advanced multimedia capabilities, streamlined coding and cross-platform compatibility of HTML5 allow us to offer greater in-game functionality and social integration across a wide variety of consumer platforms," explained Slingo EVP and general manager Eric Lamendola.
"Tylted's keen understanding of social interaction and implementation makes them an ideal partner for publishing Slingo Ricochet on mobile devices."
The company's stated goal is to offer an alternative to the app stores, allowing developers to publish on monetise their titles on the mobile web.
"We are ecstatic to have the industry's leading developers create games on Tylted's platform and to deploy their hit mobile and social games to our massive audience of gamers," added Tylted CEO Lon Otremba.
"Our expanding library of games just got bigger and better."
