Estonian accelerator Gamefounders opens applications for its third intake
I've not yet managed to get over to Estonia to see the second round of companies in the Gamefounders incubator.

Still, I've come across one or two of the companies in my (and their) recent travels.

Hello, Yellow Monkey Studios...

But while they and the seven other funded companies continue their period of hothousing in Tallinn, the team behind the incubator is looking to their third intake of companies.

The deadline for teams interesting in applying is 20 June, although as Gamefounders points out, it "gives preference to early applications" so don't delay if you're interested.

Speed boost

In terms of how the process works, selected companies receive up to €15,000 (€5,000 per founder moving to Estonia for the incubation) to fund the three month period.

Gamefounders provides office space in a new incubation building, strong mentoring, access to tools and partnership deals, as well as helping companies find further financing.

For this, it takes a 9 percent equity share in the companies it works with.

You can find out more details from the Gamefounders website.

The current eight teams will be demoing their products in London on 13 May at the Game Monetisation Conference, on 23 May at Nordic Game Conference, and in San Francisco on 31 May at the Chartboost offices.
