Cologne Big Indie Pitch proved a love-in for devs and journalists
Developers love to talk to journalists, and journalists love to play new games.

At least, that's how the virtuous circle is supposed to work.

It was something Pocket Gamer put to the test for the second time with our Big Indie Pitch.

Play you long time

The concept is simple; fill a room with journalists and game developers and get them speed-dating.

Held in Cologne during GDC Europe/Gamescom 2013 - and thanks to sponsors Sega and Apmetrix - it proved to be massive success.

A Pocket Gamer co-founder, Jon can turn his hand to anything except hand turning. He is editor-at-large at PG.biz which means he can arrive anywhere in the world, acting like a slightly confused uncle looking for the way out. He likes letters, cameras, imaginary numbers and legumes.
