Mike Bithell, Boss Alien and Twitch lead Develop in Brighton 2014's speakers list

Develop in Brighton 2014 is months away, but the organizers have unveiled the first round of speakers confirmed for the three-day event.

Leading the list are Stewart Saw of streaming service Twitch who'll give a seminar entitled "How to Maximise a Game's Streaming Potential".

Jason Avent of Boss Alien will speak on "The Business of Designing Games", while Nickelodeon UK's John Conlon will discuss "What Second Screens Really Mean".

Along with representatives from the likes of The Chinese Room, Media Molecule, Aardman Studios, and Curve, several high-profile personalities are also confirmed - such as Thomas Was Alone  dev Mike Bithell (pictured), Alistair Aitcheson, Nicholas Lovell, and I Fight Bears'  Nicoll Hunt.

The conference kicks off on Tuesday 8 July with the one-day, three-stream Evolve focused on what lies ahead for the industry and game development - notably on mobile and other fast-growing sectors. 

The full conference kicks off on Wednesday 9 July with a six-track spread of talks on art, business, coding, design, and marketing - with a production expo and indie showcase on offer as well.

Thursday 10 July adds in track dedicated to game audio, along with the ever-popular Indie Dev Day.
