It's had the World Cup with the Olympics to follow in 2016, but when it comes to games, it's the Brazil Game Show that's getting people excited.
The annual show is being held in San Paulo at the Expo Centre Norte from 8-12 October, and will see all elements of the fast-growing Brazilian games market coming together.
Mixing up consumer fun with industry networking in a manner similar to Gamescom or Chinajoy, international companies such as Sony, Microsoft, Capcom, Ubisoft, EA, Warners, Konami, Activision Blizzard are attending, as well as local outfits such as ThinKkers Inc, which is launching its social network store ThinPlay.
Speakers on the industry track include:
- Ed Boon, creator of Mortal Combat franchise
- Chance Glasco, producer of Call of Duty
- Tom Isaksen, producer of Hitman
- Monark, Youtuber
Of course, Pocket Gamer will also be in on the action.
