Check out the games being entered for the Unsung Heroes competition

Following the launch of the Unsung Heroes competition in April, developers of existing mobile games have entered their titles - which may not be doing as well as they would like - for a chance to win a $50,000 publishing deal with Spil Games.

Spil Games have received some amazing entries so far and as such has launched a Facebook page for the entrants to meet, discuss their games and show them off to the world.

You can check out the entries to the Unsung Heroes Competition at its Facebook page.

Games to reboot

There has been a massive response to the competition and developers have really related to the idea that great games can go unnoticed because of the way the app stores work.

The Unsung Heroes competition will give a least one of them a better chance of getting the audience numbers it deserves, but as well as drawing attention to the problems of promoting mobile games, the competition is also raising the profile of every game that is entered.

Anyone can take a look at these games and see what they think. Do they deserve another chance?

We're promoting the page to developers and consumers, encouraging players of all types to play the games and to comment on the page about the ones they like.

So feel free to get involved. Whether you're a competition entrant or someone who is interested in mobile gaming, we're interested to know what you think.

Plus there is still time to enter your game by registering it here

Competition closes on 23rd June 2015.
