Leamington Spa, UK, developer Pixel Toys has announced a deal that will see it bring Game Workshop's Warhammer 40,000's Imperial Knights mechs to mobile screens for the first time.

Set up as a two-man team in 2012, Pixel Toys' debut Gunfinger generated 2.5 million mobile installs and has enabled the team to grow to 15 while being profitable.

"We started Pixel Toys with a passion to use our console background to create the most exciting, visually intensive, high impact action titles for mobile and believe that with Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade we'll deliver the rich, detailed and authentic mobile game that Warhammer fans deserve," commented CEO Andy Wafer.
