Find out everything about Amazon Appstore at the free London Developer Summit on 3 November

Ensuring developers can make the most of the opportunities in its ecosystem, Amazon has announced its Amazon Appstore Developer Summit will be held on Tuesday 3 November at CodeNode in London.

The summit is designed to provide you with unique insights into the Appstore ecosystem, emerging user interfaces that are driving new user behaviours, and business models that are opening up opportunities for customers and the developer community.

Sharing their insights will be guest speakers ranging from start-ups to established consumer brands, as well as Amazon's own evangelists and technical representatives.

What's on show?

The action will be split into multiple tracks.

The Main track will provide an overview of subjects such as:

  • Amazon Appstore ecosystem, including how to improve appstore rank,
  • New device portfolio, including the Amazon Echo,
  • Best practices for bringing your apps and games to the living room,
  • Using the Alexa Skills Kit and Amazon Web Services to build voice driven experiences.

The Monetization and Engagement track will cover subjects such as the new Amazon Underground program and understanding your power users.

Meanwhile the Gaming track will provide tips such as how to port Unity games to Fire device and a comparison of using HTML5 and Unity.

In addition to the talks, there will be the opportunity to get your APKs tested and experts will be on hand to provide support, answer your questions, and help you troubleshoot any issues.

Doors open at 9am with talks starting from 10am.
