As part of Pocket Gamer Connects London 2016, Ken Asakura, CEO of Adways, gave a talk on how pre-registration campaigns can help promote your game.

In particular, he spoke about Adway's own pre-registration platform, PreLaunch.me, which allows Android users to pre-register their interest in upcoming games.

"We have a lot of dudes"

The service's audience is largely males aged between 18-34, with 49% of these users saying that they would be willing to spend between $1 and $30 on a mobile game.

"These are the guys who are proud that they were the first to play the game", said Asakura, who pointed out that these players can then become influencers for your game, generating more interest.
