US hip hop artist Fetty Wap is the unlikely star to folllow in the footsteps of Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and various Kardashiansby appearing in his own mobile game.

Titled Fetty Wap: Nitro Nation Stories, it's a collaboration between Estonian firm Creative Mobile and startup developer Moor Games.

It takes the street racing theme of the original Nitro Nation Stories and adds Fetty Wap, his partner Monty, and the RGF Production Team.

While perhaps not on the Kim Kardashian level of fame, Fetty Wap has enjoyed growing mainstream interest following the success of singles Trap Queen and 679.

But nonetheless, it is intriguing to see this trend of celebrity game tie-ins continue further down the chain - both in terms of publisher size and celebrity status - and it will certainly be interesting to see how it performs.

 Additional details are somewhat thin on the ground, but we'll find out more when the game hits on 3 May.
