As recently reported, Google announced several new Google Play features at the I/O 2016 event, one of which was the launch of an Early Access program.
And one of the first developers to make use of the opportunity is Berlin-base Stratosphere Games.
It's running its dogfighting game Nemesis: Air Combat through the program.
The game features tiered multiplayer leagues, dozens of aircraft, 75 different weapons and a storyline with hundreds of single-player missions.
Developing with fans
Interestingly, Stratosphere won't be testing the game's monetisation initially, instead planning to add it mid-beta when the game will be reset.
Early access testers will be rewarded with three exclusive jets.
"We truly believe that the only way to make a game such as Nemesis successful is to listen to the community," commented CEO Kristian Metzger.
"Their input is invaluable and we are excited to be part of a program that also recognizes this."
