One week to go - everything you need to know about PG Connects Vancouver 2016

We're within 7 days of Pocket Gamer Connects Vancouver on June 28th-29th. Exciting times.

And being a week away means it's time for a quick last-minute rundown of everything we've got in store for those who are coming along.

If that's not you, then think of it as a list of everything you're missing out on as we launch our inaugural Canadian PGC. Just sayin'.

  • A true international cross-section of the industry: Whether it's indies and big dev studios, triple-A publishers, investors, and tool providers, or C-level execs, ad networks, monetisation experts, games media, PR reps, and more, PGC Vancouver will bring them together as we roll into Canada this summer.
  • 7 tracks that deliver the insight and advice that can make the difference: Indie Futures (indie dev essentials); East Meets West (global markets and trends); Monetize, Retain, Acquire (latest tips & techniques); Mobile Games University (key practical advice); Show Me The Money (funding & investment); Future Visions (AR & VR); Made in Vancouver (learn from local success)
  • Over 100 speakers confirmed: The sharpest minds and finest insight from every corner of the mobile gaming world
  • The Very Big Indie Pitch: The massive – and massively popular – indie developer competition returns to PGC for a 2-day friendly-but-fierce battle
  • Bespoke meeting system: Our dedicated Pitch & Match system for all registered delegates to use in order to easily connect during the conference
  • 20/20 SpeedMatch: An exclusive session enabling shortlisted developers and publishers to make initial contact during a dedicated 2-hour stint of speed-date style meetings
  • I Love Indie Showcase: Exciting expo area within the conference dedicated to indie developers and their games
  • Dedicated app: For those who live their lives via handset or tablet, everything you could possibly want in one handsome, neat package
  • HotelMap: Bit of a functional one, this. But, hey, it's better than sleeping on the streets
  • PG Party: Come now, no PGC is complete without a little dancing and plenty of schmoozing

Had enough? Can't take the awesomeness?
