Pokémon GO hits 10 million downloads in record seven days

Pokémon GO was downloaded a record 10 million times in its first seven days, according to Sensor Tower.

The hugely popular game has been played by more than 30 million players worldwide, since its initial release earlier this month.

Topping the charts

Sensor Tower has compared the title with the 12 biggest mobile hits on iOS and Android.

Pokémon GO hit the 10 million mark in two days less than Supercell’s Clash Royale, also beating out King’s Candy Crush Jelly Saga and Rovio's Angry Birds 2 in the process.
