UPDATE: Multiple retailers and carriers leak Google Pixel smartphone details ahead of official reveal

Update 2: Canadian mobile carrier Rogers has revealed that the Pixel phones should be available from October 20th.

Android Central has a screenshot of a sponsored Facebook ad from the Canadian carrier, which states that pre-orders are open and the phones will arrive on October 20th.

That's just 16 days after the phone's official reveal, should pre-orders begin today. No price was attached to the advert.

Update:US mobile carrier Verizon has published its own listings for Google's Pixel and Pixel XL which reveal yet more information about the phones.

As reported by Engadget, the listing shows that the phone comes with "Google Magic", which could be a new app or product. It could also simply be a buzzword for what is already on the phone that we know about.

It also shows that the phone will come in three colours: blue, black, and silver. The listing also clarifies that both models will be available in 32GB and 128GB sizes.

Original Story: Official details for Google's new Pixel phone were accidentally by the Carphone Warehouse ahead of the smartphone's official unveiling on October 4th.

As reported by Android Police, the listings, which have since been removed, revealed that Google will release both a Pixel and Pixel XL model of its upcoming smartphone. The phones will have 32GB and 128GB of internal memory respectively.

Both models will feature a 2.15GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. They both have AMOLED screens with Gorilla Glass 4. While the Pixel will output at 1080p, the Pixel XL will display at 1440p.

Bigger is better

The Pixel XL will have a slightly larger battery than the Pixel, but both phones will have the same cameras, with an 8MP front camera and a 12MP rear camera.

Both models will feature support from Google which allows unlimited backup of photos to Google Photos, and will come with Google's Allo and Duo apps as well as Google Assistant.

Google Pixel was also listed as having a microSD slot, which Android Police claims is most likely a mistake on Carphone Warehouse's behalf.

Both Pixel phones are expected to be officially announced at Google's event on October 4th, which will likely also reveal prices for the devices.
