The Nintendo NX will be revealed at 3pm UK time (4pm CEST) today (October 20th).

Nintendo has promised to offer fans a first look at its next generation platform via a preview trailer through its official website.

The company said this will serve as a preliminary announcement of information for the platform.

Rumour mill

It’s not clear exactly how much of the system will be revealed, but the announcement could likely offer a glimpse of the hardware and the name of the system itself.

Little is known about Nintendo’s next console, but it is expected to be a home console and handheld hybrid.

It has also been rumoured that Nintendo aims to manufacture between 9.5 and 10 million Nintendo NX consoles per year.

It is currently scheduled to launch in March 2017.
