UA and monetisation platform Bee7 no longer available to third-party developers

Tech only available for Outfit7 and advertisers

UA and monetisation platform Bee7 no longer available to third-party developers

Monetisation and UA platform Bee7 is no longer supplying its services to third-party developers.

The London-based company, spun out from Talking Tom studio Outfit7 in November 2014, was created to help developers acquire, engage and retain users on mobile.

Players could access new titles in the games they are already playing. Users who played new titles or watched a video trailer would then receive in-game rewards.

External to internal

In a statement to PockerGamer.biz, a spokesperson for Outfit7 confirmed that the platform was no longer available to third-party developers and that it would be solely used for the studio’s internal operations.

The spokesperson added this would be “more efficient for our team and for our clients”.

“This way, we can combine the teams and create a single ads monetisation and PUA powerhouse to work in a more streamlined and resourceful manner,” read a statement.

“This is the basis of our thinking and the reason for the integration. From now on, the unique ad technology is exclusive to Outfit7 and our advertisers.”

It is understood there have been some job losses following the decision, but Outfit7 has not confirmed how many staff were affected.
