Koukoi Games pushing Crashing Season into Middle East and North Africa markets

Crashing Season developer Koukoi Games has partnered with Jordanian developer and publisher Maysalward into the Middle East and North Africa markets.

Maysalward will assist in localising and culturalising the game for the MENA market. It has previously worked with developers like Zeptolab and Creative Mobile on similar projects.

The MENA region is noted by Koukoi as being particularly difficult to enter, but the studio claims it is a growing market and shows promise for Crashing Season.

Great promise

"The MENA region has its own challenges that Koukoi feels are better conquered through a publisher that is native to the region and has wide access to various distribution channels," said Koukoi Games CEO Antti Kananen.

"Through this partnership we're able to grow with a market that has a great promise as a growing mobile game market."

Koukoi Games has partnered with a number of different publishers recently to spread its game. It worked with MyGamez to launch in China, as well as Worker Bee for a Japan release.
