Starbreeze open to partnering with mobile developers under new IndieLabs publishing label

PayDay 2publisher Starbreeze has launched a new publishing division for small developers called IndieLabs.

The company said it aims to sign small projects under the label and provde them with support and investment to help them reach the market.

Developers who partner with Starbreeze will retain “a large portion of IP rights and revenue shares”.

Open to mobile

Though Starbreeze has focused largely on PC, console and virtual reality, the company does have some experience in mobile after partnering with 505 Games to release Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on mobile.

A Starbreeze spokesperson confirmed to PocketGamer.biz that it is open to publishing mobile games if the right project comes along.

The first developer to sign up to the label is Croatian developer Lion Game Lion for its competitive battle arena title Antisphere. Starbreeze has invested $300,000 to help release the title on PC and other platforms.
