Final Fantasy Brave Exvius passes eight million downloads in five months outside Japan

Square Enix and Gumi's Final Fantasy Brave Exviushas surpassed eight million downloads globally since the game's launch.

The game launched globally on June 29th 2016 and passed the five million global downloads mark a month later. This means it took four months to achieve its next three million downloads.

The download numbers do not include the game's downloads in Japan. Back in July 2016, it had 6.5 million registered users in Japan alone.

Presents for everyone

To celebrate the milestone, Square Enix is introducing a new login bonus campaign as well as a cross-promotional event with Brave Frontier. It has also introduced a new PvP mode.

Square Enix has recently noted Brave Exvius' success as a factor in its strong sales in FY17. It helped push the studio's sales to over $1 billion in the first half of its financial year.
