Nigeria-based Maliyo Games' endless runner Aboki Run has become the first game made in Nigeria to be featured on Google Play.

It achieved this on December 2nd 2016 and is now on course to be the most successful endless runner made in the entirety of Africa.

The game has accumulated over 50,000 downloads and is set to be one of the top grossing games in Nigeria.

A beautiful end

"This achievement serves as a beautiful way to wrap-up 2016, and a strong motivation to build better games in 2017," said Maliyo CEO Hugo Obi.

Aboki Run is the latest in Maliyo's portfolio of 15 casual games, with each one designed to share everyday African experiences with a global audience.
