MAG Interactive's WordBrain surpasses 30 million downloads

Sees one million players on its first Facebook Instant Game

MAG Interactive's WordBrain surpasses 30 million downloads

Stockholm-based mobile game developer MAG Interactive's WordBrain has surpassed 30 million downloads since first launching in December 2013.

This suggests an average download rate of 10 million every year since launching. The game is regarded by MAG Interactive as one of its most popular releases.

The developer also revealed that its Facebook Instant Games title Wordalot Express has surpassed one million players since launching in November 2016. The studio plants to launch more titles in the coming weeks.

Can't get enough

"We are thrilled by the current success of WordBrain and Wordalot Express, and we will keep bringing games players can’t get enough of to market," said CTO Kaj Nygren.

MAG Interactive surpassed 100 million downloads for its games overall in June 2016. CEO Daniel Hasselberg had attributed its success to the fact it targeted "non-gamers" who are less fickle than the core audience.
