Limbic Software-developed and flaregames-published mobile shooter Zombie Gunship Survival is finally launching worldwide on May 25th 2017 nearly two years after its first reveal.
The game is a free-to-play take on the typically-premium Zombie Gunship series, and sees players shooting zombies from an AC-130 gunship. It was first announced back in June 2015 under the title Zombie Gunship Inc.
All quiet
Neither Limbic nor flaregames said much about the game after the initial announcement, until they broke silence in September 2016 to reveal a late 2016 release date. It was soft-launched shortly after in October 2016 under the new name Zombie Gunship Survival.
Radio silence ensued yet again, and the game quietly slipped past its late 2016 release date as the team continued to update it in soft launch. The release date of May 25th is the first concrete date provided so far.
Publisher flaregames is also currently busy with Nonstop Chuck Norris, which launched in late April. The game is a licensed spin-off of Kopla Games' Nonstop Knight, which has racked up over 12 million downloads to date.
