Super Evil Megacorp has raised $19 million in its latest round of funding to continue development of its game Vainglory and the engine it runs on.
The company did not state which investors provided funding for the round. It brings the total funding raised by Super Evil to $63 million.
The funding will be used to continue Vainglory's push into 5v5 to bring it onto a level playing field with other MOBAs. It currently only supports 3v3 battles on its own purpose-built level.

Money will also be used to further develop the E.V.I.L. engine which Vainglory runs on. Super Evil is hoping to increase the engines capability to deliver high-quality graphics at high framerates on mobile devices.
Along with the funding round, the developer also revealed that it has recently doubled its studio space and hired new staff. There are still positions open, which can be found on the studio's website.
Vainglory is set to make its TV debut in a few weeks as part of a special episode of a new Disney XD program. Super Evil continues to run quarterly tournaments for the game, and partnered with ESL UK to produce its Spring Championship in May 2017.
