Vancouver mobile games publisher FlowMotion provides over 10,000 meals to children in need

Vancouver-based mobile games publisher FlowMotion Entertainment has provided more than 10,000 meals to children in need as part of a partnership with charity Backpack Buddies.

The charity works with schools and corporations to provide food to children in need in an effort to prevent hunger amongst the young.

FlowMotion partnered with the organisation in 2015 and pledged to donate a percentage of company revenues and executive salaries towards Backpack Buddies.

As a result of this support, FlowMotion has to date provided more than 10,000 meals for children.

Supporting others

“We strive to be true corporate citizens,” said FlowMotion’s Co-owner Ryan Yada.

“We’re a heart-centred company, and placing that philosophy into practice means devoting both our time and our resources towards aiding both our local community and those less fortunate. The most rewarding aspect of our success has been our ability to share it with others, and we’re thrilled to continue to support Backpack Buddies’ inspiring mission.”

FlowMotion has published a number of titles including Cooking Queen: Restaurant Dash and Kitchen Craze: Master Chef.

In total, its mobile games have been downloaded almost 15 million times. The company said its revenues have increased by more than six times since the start of 2017.
