10 tracks, 100 speakers, and fringe events galore

Schedule unveiled for PG Connects Helsinki 2017

Boom. The schedule for PG Connects Helsinki 2017(September 19th to 20th) has been revealed.

There's still some tinkering (and a couple of in-the-works sessions to be added) but what you'll find now online should give a decent account of the 10 tracks covering everything from influencers to eSports to monetisation to practical development to team management to audio design to… you get the idea.

Our splendid speakers from every corner of the industry will share their insight with 1,000+ professionals from right across the entire mobile games ecosystem – so whether you're a student developer, an established indie, a triple-A publisher, a C-level exec, a service provider, an investor, or even a media representative (bless you) you should find something of key relevance to you and your business.

But… bang. That's just the conference agenda. Supporting all of that glorious content is our selection of networking fringe events and conference features, of course:

  • Pitch & Match – Free business matching meeting system for all attendees
  • PGC App – Free app to get updates and connect with other delegates on-the-fly
  • Very Big Indie Pitch – Indie developers pitch the media and selected experts for prizes and feedback on their upcoming games
  • Tenjin workshop – best practices on how to grow your apps for UA professionals, data scientists & engineers
  • SpeedMatch – Guaranteed meetings for developers and publishers/investors to make initial contact during a curated session
  • Game Jam – Second outing for amazing coders to battle it out over the two days
  • Expo Area – Discover games, new talent, technologies, services and more
  • I Love Indie Showcase – Up-and-coming indies show off their games in the dedicated expo area
  • Global Connects Party – Let your hair down, get your dancing shoes on, and your business cards out in our relaxed, always-popular after-hours event
  • Game music concert – Courtesy of Europe's first professional game music-focused orchestra

And… bing. New for 2017 is the addition of not one but two sister conferences (to which PGC delegates get full access as part of their ticket):

  • XR Connects – Focused on everything VR, AR and MR, from hardware manufacturers to all categories of content developers, and diving into all areas of this exciting ecosystem
  • PC Connects – Brand new addition to our conference roster, featured this year in 'taster selection' form, dedicated to the modern digital PC games industry
