MotionVolt's Flip Diving and Flip Master surpass a combined 75 million downloads in 13 months

MotionVolt Games' Flip Diving and Flip Master have surpassed a combined total of 75 million downloads just over 13 months after the first game launched.

Flip Diving was released in August 2016. By February 2017, it had secured over 40 million downloads, and players had completed over 20 billion dives in-game.

The sequel, Flip Master, launched on August 31st 2017. It became the top downloaded free game on the US and UK App Stores just two days after release.

Flipping heck

MotionVolt Games is a three-man studio based in Helsinki. It was founded by Atte Ilvessuo, co-founder of Trials series developer RedLynx.

Both games are published by Miniclip, a studio that has successfully transitioned from browser to mobile over the last few years. In our interview with its CEO Rob Small back in December 2016, it was revealed that Flip Diving had surpassed 15 million downloads at the time.
