Supercell has wrapped up its latest Clash Royale tournament with the top team taking home $60,000 for their efforts.
The King's Cup II tournament was held on October 28th-29th in Atlanta. A prize pool of $200,000 was available between the teams that made it to the finals.
The first day of the tournament was a series of open heats featuring around 500 players. The top eight players were then placed into teams with Clash Royale pros and YouTube content creators for the final day.
Big money prizes
Each team in the final day took home a minimum of $15,000. The winning team, Viva La Sparky, took the top prize of $60,000 between them.
This is not the end of Clash Royale's tournaments for 2017. The Fall Finals for the Clash Royale Crown Championship are due to take place in November 2017, with a final tournament to be held in London in December.
Almost two years after it first launched, Clash Royale continues to be a major revenue generator. It still regularly appears as one of the top grossing games each month in studies conducted by SuperData Research.
