MAG Interactive's WordBrain scores over 40 million downloads

MAG Interactive's game WordBrain has now surpassed 40 million downloads just under four years after it first launched.

To celebrate, the game is receiving a full redesign to improve the user interface. MAG is also adding 80 new levels, new pack names, and new icons for players to use.

WordBrain passed the 30 million downloads mark in January 2017. It has therefore accumulated 10 million downloads in around 11 months.

Bread and butter

"Word games have always been our bread and butter so reaching 40 million downloads milestone with WordBrain gives us confidence that our efforts in this genre are directed the right way", said Johan Persson, VP of Product at MAG Interactive.

"Paying close attention to community feedback and thoroughly analysing the latest trends have helped us keep our games fresh. We hope players will appreciate the revamped version of WordBrain and look forward to hearing what they think."

MAG Interactive recently announced plans for an IPO by the end of 2017. It is hoping to raise $68 million by going public, with existing investors already committing to buying $27 million of the shares.
