Social casino games developer Huuuge Games has raised $50 million in a series C funding round.

Company CEO Anton Gauffin claimed in a blog post that the studio experienced 900% growth in 2016 while generating a profit.

The investment comes just over a year after it secured $4.6 million from a series B funding round.

Gauffin said the company aims to use the new funds to develop new games as well as improve existing titles.

The studio is also preparing to invest significantly in “large-scale” marketing campaigns both on global and local levels.

Huuuge Games recently launched a TV advert in the US, which you can view below.

“This is something myself and everyone else in the team dreamed of, and worked tirelessly to achieve,” said Gauffin.

“We wouldn’t have been able to make those dreams a reality without the passion and support of our fans and players. Your feedback and ideas keep us going and let us work towards building more amazing experiences. Of course, none of this would be possible without Team Huuuge.

"The impact your dedication and talent had on our mission to transform mobile casual gaming into massively fun, real-time, social gaming experiences cannot be overstated.”
