Hatch celebrates first anniversary by rolling out to five new countries

Rovio's spin-off cloud gaming platform Hatch is celebrating its first anniversary by rolling out to more countries and launching new games.

Hatch is now available on Android in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the entire Nordic region. It rolled out to the Nordics earlier in November 2017.

The service will also be adding 24 new games from December 1st up until December 24th. The first of these games will be Akupara Games' Star Viking Forever.

Rich experiences

"We have now demonstrated that rich, full game experiences can be streamed on the go as easily as movies or music, with clear benefits for consumers," said Hatch founder and CEO Juhani Honkal.

"A transformation in the industry to cloud-based game streaming is inevitable and underway already, with Hatch leading the charge."

Hatch currently has over 100 content partners providing 250 games to its service. It cleared the 50 partners milestone back in February 2017.
