PG Connects Advent Day Three: How to beat the London conference accommodation conundrum

Throughout December we're running a 'PGC London 2018 Advent Calendar'. Every day, an informative conference-related update (and, if we're sharp enough to manage it, with a little fun snuck in).

'Hotel', 'reasonable', and 'London' are three words even less likely to be found in the same sentence than, say, 'Trump', 'women', 'respect'.

Anyone coming to Pocket Gamer Connects London 2018 (January 22nd to 23rd), no doubt enticed by its range of fine, fine speakers, extensive industry-covering agenda, renowned networking opportunities – heck, even its much-loved venue – may already be more than aware.

But if you've not yet booked a room consider our PGC London HotelMap. Through it you'll find a range of discounted hotel options which will downgrade some accommodation options from the 'sorry, I don't wish to buy the room, just rent it for the night?' to a more surmountable, 'okay, guess my credit limit can just about take that'.

So that's one thing that might assist. Another, for anyone still without a conference ticket to PGC London (which, remember, also gives full access to associate conferences PC Connects and XR Connects), is that the Mid Term rate is available for a little while longer.

With three boys under the age of 12, former Edge editor Joao has given up his dream of making it to F1 and instead spends his weekends transforming his living room floor into a venue for hosting increasingly complex Scalextric tracks. When in work mode, he looks after the production (aka the behind-the-scenes magic) of Steel Media's series of conferences.
