Weekly UK App Store charts: Rules of Survival battles its way into the top 10

Each week app market intelligence firm Reflection, in partnership with UKIE, publish the top grossing and most downloaded gamesfrom the UK App Store. 

So we’re sharing that data each week to give you an insight into how the UK mobile games market is evolving.

War, what is it good for?

For the week of February 12th to February 18th NetEase’s Rules of Survival provided the charts with its biggest mover, storming up the top 20 free iPad games chart 11 places from 18th to seventh.

The Chinese publisher’s battle royale game is the latest to capitalise on the popular genre and sees 120 players duke it out to be the last player standing.

Elsewhere much of the charts remained the same as many of the leaders in both the download and grossing charts strengthened their grip on the top rankings, leading to few surprises and little room for newcomers.
