HQ Trivia lands ad sponsorship from Nike and Warner Bros for themed quiz nights

Intermedia Labs’ HQ Trivia has found a way to monetise after landing sponsorship deals from Warner Bros and Nike.

As reported by AdAge, Warner Bros’ deal with HQ Trivia is worth $3 million and will involve the popular trivia app promoting three of its upcoming movies.

The first of these films to be promoted is Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One, an ad that will air later today alongside a $250,000 jackpot.

Just do it

HQ Trivia also hosted a surprise game earlier this week with sponsorship from Nike to celebrate the shoe manufacturer’s made-up holiday Air Max Day on March 26th.

The quiz had initially been teased late last week by a tweet from the HQ Trivia social team.

The Nike sponsored game offered up a $100,000 prize pool which was split four ways among winners ($25,000 each). The company also gave away 100 unique pairs of Air Max 270 sneakers with the HQ Trivia logo embroiled in them.
