Games Factory to open new hub for Finnish games companies in June

Helsinki-based game development ecosystem Games Factory is set to open its doors to Finnish companies on June 1st.

The space will be home to 20 small-to-medium-sized Finnish games studios at a time.

Games Factory’s main criteria for selecting members will be their capacity and willingness to contribute to the community and the whole ecosystem.

Contributions can range from sharing technical capabilities to organising events.

Finesse

According to Games Factory, its role will be to improve cooperation within the industry that brings developers and other industry professionals together to network and collaborate more closely.

“We’ll be the embassy and showroom of the Finnish games industry on the global arena,” said Games Factory CEO José Jácome.

“Games Factory will develop the Helsinki and Finnish gaming ecosystem further from the inside.”
