PUBG Mobile raking in $700k a day thanks to the new Royale Pass

The introduction of the Royale Pass saw revenues for battle royale sensation PUBG Mobile soar 365 per cent in the first week of its introduction.

That estimate comes from intelligence firm Sensor Tower, which reports that revenues jumped from $1.3 million per week to about $6.1 million in the week following June 19th.

PUBG Mobile is now said to be grossing $700k per day. Prior to June 19th it had been averaging revenues on average of $170k a day.

Battling back

There are two versions of the Royale Pass, the free Royale Pass and a paid Elite Royale Pass. Much like the Battle Pass in Fortnite, the Elite Royale Pass is priced at $9.99 and is paid for by purchasing Unknown Cash.

The introduction of the Royale Pass has led to an improvement in the US App Store’s top grossing iPhone games chart.

PUBG Mobile had typically been ranked between 100 and 150 prior but is now steady in the top 50.
