Sigh.
In further proof that nothing is sacred anymore, Mario Kart is trending on Twitter, not for a new game, but due to salacious accusations concerning US President Donald Trump’s err… nether regions.
The Guardian has picked up the exclusive on adult film star Stormy Daniels’ new book Full Disclosure, which goes into detail on her time with Donald Trump, whom she is alleged to have had an affair with.
Trump has denied the affair and the serious accusations that Daniels was threatened to not leak the story to the press. Questions also remain around the $130,000 given to Daniels by Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen to allegedly keep her quiet on the affair, just before the US presidential election - which could count as a campaign expenditure.
Full disclosure
In an excerpt from her new book discussing the alleged affair, Daniels shared a rather sordid description of Trump’s penis.
“He knows he has an unusual penis,” wrote Daniels.
“It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool… “I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart...
“It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly, he didn’t share that opinion.”
And the internet is not best pleased.

Despite the horror expressed by many on the internet over the more salacious details extracted from the book, Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti had this to say:
The most important thing about @stormydaniels book is not the description of her sex with Mr. Trump. It is instead her description of her life and role as a modern woman unafraid to speak truth to power. I am proud to call her my client and my friend.
